So, this episode summed up the first season, from Kurumi’s point of view. Or, should I say, it summarized what happened to Kurumi in the first season Sawako is pretty much shoved under the carpet in this episode. They reminded us of her background story, and the only new thing we learn in the end is that Kurumi is buying chocolates, probably for Valentine’s day Seeing the preview for next episode, it is for Valentine’s day.
Alright, well there’s not much else to say about this episode… If you haven’t watched the first season, don’t count on this one to fill you in with the details. They summarized well Kurumi’s story however, even though it was a little bit out of order…
Alright, so instead of putting my first impression in right away (because this was basically just a summary), I thought I would give a little bit of information on how I will be blogging this (This way I won’t have to say it when the show actually starts).
First of all, please note that I have read the manga. Except, I kinda marathoned it and when I do that, I usually end up forgetting most of what happened after I’m done. Therefore, I remember the last few chapters, I remember the basic storyline, but I technically have no idea what’s in between and what happens. So if you expect me to make connections between the manga and anime, don’t expect much since I can barely remember what I’ve read I know, sounds weird but that’s what happens when I marathon XD Don’t question.
Also, since I absolutely love this series, please expect a lot of “OMFG THIS IS SO CUTE” or “I’M LOVING THIS” and such. Please expect some biased reviews sometimes (I try to be neutral but that doesn’t work out too well), however I will try my best to write them in the greatest way possible so that we can all enjoy this soon-to-be magnificent season together hate this and you will die… Just saying.
PLEASE NOTE: I have a very very very very very very big slight obsession with Sanada Ryuu, one of the secondary characters. If you have read some of my older posts, you might notice that I have a tendency to adore with Bambi eyes prefer plain-type characters. If you have seen the first season of this, you will understand why Ryuu is just plain awesome todom tschii. Don’t worry, I don’t do horrible puns so often, but once in a while I just have to.
On a side note, about the actual second season, I found the opening to be very cute, and it gave me pretty much the same feeling as the one in first season, except better. I have to admit the opening of the first season never really impressed me, and at least this one presented the characters, and I thought it was cute It is Kimi ni Todoke after all, come on, it has to be cute.
😀 Can’t wait until this starts again and we meet all the characters again like Ryuu!
