Berry: Not much to say here. I really like HeroAca, it’s season 4, let’s go~
Oki: Midnight and I are hype AF and I’m sure we’re both back in for that sweet sweet dual action coverage.
Midnight: HYPE, HYPE, HYPE, HYPE. SEASON FOUR BABY!!!! I’ve been told i’m going to love a lot of the new characters being introduced and I am just so excited to come back to this series. I love this show a lot and I am really excited to see where it’s going next.
Shadow: Ooooooh snap! It’s back! And back with probably one of the most freaking epic arcs in the series! I won’t be blogging about it, but I’ll definitely be watching it for sure!
Tsuyoku: I gotta catch up now! I think in S4 they finally get to the arcs that I like the best. I still haven’t watched S3 but knowing this is upcoming it’s absolutely great motivation.
Quietcupcake: I’m so excited for season 4! I don’t really know what to say about this one, but man! I am so excited!
Possible Bloggers: Midnight, Oki

Eva: Okay this one, I have started watching like two weeks ago. Hahaha…. Better late than never right?! See, I get around to it!

Berry: PASS – I tried watching the first episode but could barely watch the first half because of the blonde dude. Sexual harassment isn’t funny. :/

Oki: I haven’t seen enough of this show thanks to the first episode. I know he’s an aged down hero but I can’t watch a child touch boobies!

Midnight: My mom has watched more of this series then I have…which is to say I think she watched season 1 and i’ve watched none of it. So, i’ll pass on this one.

Shadow: OH HECK YES. After covering the second season, I was wondering when the next season would come out! Though I am surprised that they switched animation studios, though it may be for the best. Hopefully Studio DEEN can produce some stellar animation for this series. I’m also excited that I’ll finally see a particular scene I’ve been waiting for will definitely be animated in this season!

Tsuyoku: This show has been recommended to me over and over and although I’m sure it’s really good based on who has made the recommendations, I keep putting it off…

Quietcupcake: I’ll be honest, I was really frustrated with the previous two seasons and so I wouldn’t necessarily say that I’m super excited for this season, but I sure as heck am gonna watch it. I’m glad that I’ll get to see my favorite characters in action again and maybe I’ll be pleasantly surprised with the direction it goes?

Berry: Haha! I also saw the early screening at Crunchyroll Expo and it’s typical Chihayafuru. Which means I can’t wait for this third season!
Oki: Was that Eva screaming and crying I heard from a distance?
Midnight: Pass – Haven’t seen the first two seasons
Shadow: I was basically peer pressured into watching this series, but I’m glad I did! It’s a real emotional rollercoaster and I really enjoyed the first two seasons. I actually got to watch the first two episodes in a pre-screening at Crunchyroll Expo and man… it’s gonna be good!
Tsuyoku: Another show I’ve been recommended a lot and haven’t gotten around to watching! Maybe this time around new episodes will also work as motivation. I really does seem like someone I would appreciate much more now than a few years back.
Quietcupcake: Pass – //Lies on the ground – I really want to watch it, but it’s unfortunately in backlog limbo. Maybe I’ll take this time to binge the whole thing once this season airs.

The second season of High Score Girl.
Eva: PASS – Haven’t seen the first season.
Berry: Love this show! It was a hidden gem last year but it gained a bit of traction when people gave it a chance (it’s on Netflix!). It’s an incredibly sweet and cute show, and the retro video game references are just a bonus, such as the anime’s poster hilariously mimicking the box art of Street Fighter 2. I can’t wait!
Oki: This art style just. . .it is not me at all!
Midnight: Pass – Didn’t watch season one
Shadow: PASS – Didn’t watch the first season.

BEASTARS
Animation Company: ORANGE
Website: https://bst-anime.com/
Premiere: October 9, 2019 (JST)
Genre: Drama, Slice of Life, Psychological
Trailer: PV 1 | PV 2 | PV 3

In a world populated by anthropomorphic animals, herbivores and carnivores coexist with each other. For the adolescents of Cherryton Academy, school life is filled with hope, romance, distrust, and uneasiness.

The main character is Legoshi the wolf, a member of the drama club. Despite his menacing appearance, he has a very gentle heart. Throughout most of his life, he has always been an object of fear and hatred by other animals, and he’s been quite accustomed to that lifestyle. But soon, he finds himself becoming more involved with his fellow classmates who have their own share of insecurities and finds his life in school changing slowly.

Eva: Eek, the PV freaked me out a bit, I don’t think I’ll be watching this.

Berry: I…don’t think I’m the audience for this…

Oki: Why in God’s name have we come to this?

Midnight: I honestly cannot tell you what I just watched and i’m not even sure myself if I want to know what I just watched. I might, like, check out the first episode of this out of morbid curiosity.

Shadow: At first, I was curious about it. But after seeing the PV and saw that it was going to be cg, my curiosity disappated a little. I might check it out and see if the plot is worth slogging through the cg. But we’ll see.

Tsuyoku: I think over time I’ve become very forgiving of CGI, maybe Ajin and Houseki no Kuni made that much of a good impression on me that I’m willing to give this a try! Besides, a friend of mine gave me some good comments on the manga it’s based on a while back.

Quietcupcake: At first glance I thought this wouldn’t be something that I would be into, but after watching the trailer, I became really interested it! I don’t know much more than the synopsis and the trailer, but it really grabbed my interest! I’ll definitely be checking out the first few episodes.

Berry: PASS – I tried watching this show but could not get into it at all.
Oki: I’m. . . almost caught up but I’m not sure if I can sit in on this one. This show is my shameful dirty secret. And by secret I mean I love all the ecchi scenes and I am ashamed.
Midnight: Pass– I’m on like, episode 4 of season one. I’ll catch up eventually.
Shadow: PASS – Haven’t watched any of the previous seasons.
Tsuyoku: PASS – I didn’t watch the previous season.

Berry: This was a pretty fun show with gorgeous music so I’m glad we’re getting more of it. Especially when they left it on a huge cliffhanger!

Oki: Ain’t seen it, can’t review it.

Midnight: Pass – Didn’t watch the first cour

Shadow: I watched this in a group viewing and it definitely had a bit of charm. I’m eager to see where it will go next, especially since the first cour left us on a pretty heavy cliffhanger.

What has happened to her and what Sora is going to do at the new school is all up to you to find out!

Eva: Eh, I don’t know about this one. This one isn’t reeling me in…
Berry: Hmm, I’m not sure. I enjoy sports anime but I’m not totally pulled in yet. I’ll give it a shot though and I’ll see how I feel about it then.
Oki: Look children, it’s a sport!
Midnight: Pass – Not really interested in most sports animes
Shadow: I’ve heard good things about it so I might give it a watch to see how it goes. Probably won’t cover it though.
Tsuyoku: Oh, nice! Sports anime! I haven’t covered once in a while and my preference is honestly baseball, but I might check this out to see if it’s any good. Not so interesting in blogging it at the moment, though.
Quietcupcake: I’m not 100% sold on this anime, but I generally enjoy sports anime, so I’ll give the first few episodes a shot!

No Guns Life

After the war, there are many “Extends” in the city, people whose bodies were modified to make them into dangerous weapons. Inui Juuzou is one of them, and he has no memories of his life and body before his head was transformed into a gun. Strangely enough, his head-gun is designed so that only someone behind him can pull the trigger. Juuzou makes a living by taking on cases involving Extends in the city, and he is assisted by Mary, an intelligent young woman that he has taken under his protection.

Eva: Count me intrigued! It has some big names behind this production as well, so I hope it turns out to be good!

Berry: It’s so hard to take this seriously when the dude’s head is literally a gun. But dammit it looks cool!

Oki: I wish I could say this is the weirdest shit I’ve seen in anime but it’s just generally par for the course. Not my jam though!

Midnight: I didn’t notice the guy in the poster with the gun head until after I read the summary. Not…entirely sure how I feel about this show in general, this is gonna be one of those ‘watch the first episode’ kind of things.

Shadow: PASS – W-Why is that guy’s head a gun…? In any case, I’m not a fan of this type of setting since for some reason it makes me anxious.

Tsuyoku: PASS – Too weird for me.

Quietcupcake: PASS – Hmmm I don’t think it’s not really my cup of tea, but I’ll keep an eye on what other people are saying and might give it a go if people recommend it.

One day he is summoned to another world, where a princess asks him to help kill magical beasts, but he gets mad and puts her in a German suplex. Instead, he begins life as a pet shop owner in the other world.

Eva: PASS – Eh, when I first encountered the manga, I thought i was going to be funny, but instead it bore me to death. So it’s a pass for me.

Berry: PASS – Just how much more isekai are they going to make? Now it’s a wrestler? Are they really running out of ideas? STOP!!!

Oki: Look everyone! Something I’m not going to blog!

Midnight: WWE reject who really loves animals, decides ‘F- you all bitches, i’m gonna be the best Pokemon master’ Yeah, that’s just about what I got out of the PV. This has potential to be really funny, really boring or really weird and i’m not sure which one it’s gonna be.

Shadow: PASS – I’m so done with isekai.

Tsuyoku: PASS – Not interested in the genre.

Quietcupcake: PASS – The premise doesn’t really grab me

Thus begins the cowardly Iruma-kun’s extraordinary school life among the otherworldly as he faces his true self, takes on challenges, and rises to become someone great…

Eva: This is definitely the type of series I would rather binge than watch on an weekly basis. So I will probably watch this during my New Years countdown marathon.
Berry: PASS – Not interested
Oki: This dude’s backstory sounds like something from a bad roleplayer….
Midnight: It’s Hayate the Combat butler, but in a fantasy setting. No thanks, I tried watching that anime once. Not again.
Shadow: PASS – This doesn’t look like something that would be my cup of tea.
Tsuyoku: PASS – Not interested in the genre.
Quietcupcake: PASS – I was kind of put off by the put off by the PV

Eva: Pass – You lost me at “fuelled by intimacy”.

Berry: PASS – LOL

Oki: Fueled by intimacy, the writers wrote with pride and determination as tired anime fans sobbed into the night.

Midnight: Pass– It lost me at Ecchi and i jumped ship and ran at ‘fueled by intimacy’

Shadow: PASS – It lost me at ecchi.

Tsuyoku: PASS – Not interested in the genre.

Quietcupcake: PASS – I second everyone above

Berry: PASS – Not too sure what this show is trying to be but I’m not that interested to find out.
Oki: Too much moe not enough sci-fi.
Midnight: Pass – I don’t find it interesting
Shadow: PASS – From what I can make of the PV, it looks interesting, but the girl designs look too moe for my liking.
Tsuyoku: PASS – I don’t find it interesting.
Quietcupcake: PASS – The PV didn’t really grab my interest

Houkago Saikoro Club
放課後さいころ倶楽部| Afterschool Dice Club

Kyoto in Spring. Aya is a high school girl who’s just moved to a new town. Miki is her shy classmate, and her first friend. One day after school Aya and Miki follow the committee president Midori to a specialty board games store. The Dice Club. Without thinking they try out a German board game together. These girls, who are searching for fun, soon fall into the exciting world of games.

Eva: Pass – Sounds really cute on paper, but unless it’s really funny I have such a hard time watching these type of shows.

Berry: PASS – The only way I can watch a show like this is if it’s like Asobi Asobase that turns a summary like this on its head, then proceeds to inject itself with questionable substances in crazed fashion. So, no. Also, their giant bangs are really bothering me. :/

Oki: Pass – This is going to be a heartfelt and engaging show for certain people, and for me I will fall asleep! Also, I feel like I’ve seen this exact cover 500 times for anime lately. Urk.

Midnight: Honestly, I really want to cover this but it’s the lowest priority on my list and had to be axed so I wouldn’t be signed up for too many shows. I’ll be watching it for sure, it gives me that same kind of ‘cute girls doing cute things’ that I got from Anne Happy and I loved that show.

Shadow: PASS – Looks way too moe for my liking.

Tsuyoku: PASS – Sems kind of generic.

Quietcupcake: This actually seems pretty cute and enjoyable. My roommates really enjoy board games and such, so it might be something that we all watch together!

Rifle Is Beautiful

She had only one day to find enough members to reform the club, but luckily was able to find three other first-year girls who she had met at a competition in middle school. Thus begins the daily activities of the Chidori High Shooting Club.
Eva: Pass – Again, not my type of show.
Berry: PASS – LOL x2
Oki: Okay so I might have laughed really hard internally at how rifle can sound like waifu so I really hope they make the hashtag for this show #riflewaifus . I’m not covering it though I’m sick of shows like this and these girls carry rifles in an unsafe way lmao.
Midnight: Pass – Nope, this is like, actually the last thing the world needs right now. We don’t need otaku boys being like “oh man, if i’m good at guns. Kokura-chan will notice me.” I hate everything about this.
Shadow: PASS – Not interested in moe girl premises no matter what they’re doing.
Tsuyoku: PASS – Not interested in the premise.
Quietcupcake: PASS – Look, I’m a sucker for anime where someone comes to a school for a certain reason and then finds out that reason doesn’t exist anymore and has to build it from the ground up… But I have a feeling, this isn’t going to give me the same uplifting feeling I’ve gotten in the past.

The old witch who afflicted Manji with immortality agrees to Manji’s proposition and Manji is set on his path to kill one thousand evil men. On his journey he meets a young girl, Rin, who has her own vengeance to seek against the sword school whose members slaughtered Rin’s family. Rin and Manji journey together, each hoping to find some kind of peace. In their way are many varied enemies. Rin and Manji are almost constantly under attack and must learn to live their lives, avoiding being consumed by revenge.

Eva: Pass – Ugh, I would like to watch it but… Too much blood for me. Q_______Q

Berry: Fuck yea, fuck yea, gimme. The setting and talk of a curse gives me Dororo vibes and it’s calling out to me. This is hyping me up so much, it looks awesome!

Oki: This looks cool as fuck holy shit? I don’t think I’ll have the time to blog it but *holy damn*.

Midnight: The gore doesn’t bother me and it looks cool, I might watch it, but i’m not sure it’s something I could blog about.

Shadow: PASS – There’s only so much blood and gore I can handle. I also don’t really like the color scheme. Too desaturated for my liking.

Tsuyoku: This seems pretty interesting and cool and also kinda way too serious for me at the moment.

Quietcupcake: PASS – The premise seems super cool! But, it’s not really something that would generally watch.

Possible Bloggers: Berry

Chuubyou Gekihatsu Boy
厨病激発ボーイ | Young Disease Outburst Boy
Animation Company: Studio DEEN
Website: http://chubyou.net/
Premiere: October 4, 2019 (JST)
Genre: Comedy
Trailer: PV 1 | PV 2 | PV 3

The story centers around Mizuki Hijiri, a high school girl who just transferred schools. At her new school, she has a fateful encounter with boys suffering from chuunibyou (adolescent delusions of grandeur). There is Noda who dreams of becoming a hero, the tragically handsome otaku Takashima who only likes 2D girls, Nakamura the supposedly “reincarnated” angel or devil, and the self-professed string-puller Tsukumo.
Eva: Hard pass for me. I don’t enjoy these type of stories as much as I used to.
Berry: PASS – I can take chunnibyou characters to a limit, but this seems like it’s too much. Yikes.
Oki: I’m too old for this shit man. We been doing this for freakin 9 years, 8 in my case!
Midnight: You know what, sometimes you look at something and go ‘That’s probably going to be trash’, but you’re like ‘That’s MY Trash.’ and you become oddly attached. I have a very odd fondness for Chunnibyou type characters.
Shadow: I’ll give this one a try and see if it tickles my funny bone. However, with these types of anime, it’s 50/50 on if it’ll actually be good.
Tsuyoku: Woah, this actually seems like the kind of comedy I would enjoy if they really nail chunnibyou! It’s one of those tropes I really like.
Quietcupcake: I’m definitely going to give the first few episodes of this a try, it seems like it will be a good time!

Website: http://afusara.com/index.html
Premiere: October  7, 2019 (JST)
Genre: Comedy

The comedy manga follows a lion, toucan, and lizard as they live the lives of office workers in a capitalist society in Japan, while also dealing with their unique situations as animals living beyond the savanna and the food chain.

Eva: Pass – This one isn’t really clicking with me.

Berry: Aggretsuko, but with African animals! I don’t know, it seems funny to me. The Lion King reference in the PV gave me a laugh. Definitely not something I can review but I’ll give it a watch.

Oki: I think it’s hysterical and if they did this in a different direction I’d like it a little more, but I’m probably gonna be 100% down for the memes they make from this.

Midnight: Pass – What Shadow said

Shadow: PASS – This looks a lot like Aggretsuko but it’s not as cute.

Tsuyoku: PASS – Not really interested in the premise.

Quietcupcake: PASS – It might be something I check out in the future? But I’m not really interested in diving into this one right now.

Eva: I haven’t read the novel edition, but I have come across the manga adaption about a year ago and really enjoyed it! I recommend checking out the first episode!
Berry: Hmm, it looks like it could be pretty cool. I want to be positive it won’t turn into generic crap, so I’ll stay positive.
Oki: I am…intrigued by this. I will check out the first episode.
Midnight: This is another one of those shows that if I had more room in my roster, I might do a first impression. As it is, i’m gonna watch it. It seems really neat and I love the character designs.
Shadow: This kind of series definitely feels like it could either be decent or really bad. I’ll give it a try, but I’m pretty wary.
Tsuyoku: PASS – Not interested in the genre.
Quietcupcake: PASS –  Is it bad that when the protag showed up my first thought was “oh snap it’s Kirito”? But most everyone above me looks like they might be into it! I’ll keep my ear out and see if I should check it out.

The goddess Rista summons a hero to help her hard mode video game-like world. The hero, Seiya, is exceptional in every way, but he is incredibly cautious to the point of buying three sets of armor (one to wear, a spare, and a spare for the spare) and going full power against weak slimes (just in case).

Eva: I read the manga adaption around the same time I came across Hataage! Kemono Michi (at time when looking for isekai trash to read for the LOLZ). It ended up being one of the few that actually made me laugh, so I’ll watch this.
Berry: PASS – Please end me.
Oki: No.
Midnight: Pass – I already took my Isekai for the season
Shadow: PASS – No more isekais for me.
Tsuyoku: PASS – Not interested in the genre.

Thing is, what if there was an unexpected problem about the contents of that confession?
Eva: Pass – Read a bit of the manga edition. At first I thought it was funny but then it just got straight up weird so I dropped it.

Shadow: PASS – Yet another isekai for me to skip out on this season.

Eva: AHHHHH!!! Another novel I’ve been meaning to pick up and read! I have heard a lot of great things about it, and the premise sounds right up my alley, so I am look forward to watching it!
Berry: I know I’ve been shitting on isekai, but I think this is just ONE EXCEPTION. It genuinely sounds wholesome and interesting, something most isekai are not. It’s also nice seeing an isekai where the main character is female, so let’s see where this goes.
Oki: This sounds like a cool idea and generally better than most isekai type shows, but I don’t think I can blog it.
Midnight: Pass – Hate the art style
Shadow: Hmm the coloring looks way too bright for my liking. The premise sounds a little interesting. Though I probably won’t give it a look unless I hear that’s good.
Tsuyoku: This sounds pretty interesting actually! I must admit I don’t like the designs though. Maybe I’ll give it an episode just in case.

Oki: I’m not sure, I might have to check out an episode.
Midnight: Pass– Love the art style, hate the animation style
Shadow: PASS – Thrillers make me too anxious.
Tsuyoku: I really like how this looks! Thrillers can be really fun to watch too, but I get bored if they’re just straight-up action or just mysterious, but not clever. I’m willing to give this one the benefit of the doubt.
Quietcupcake: I can’t say I’ve watched too many thrillers in the past, but for some reason this one really draws me in. I’m definitely interested in giving it a shot.

Eva: OF COURSE I WILL BE WATCHING THIS! The fact it is an otome puzzle game sounds like a really fun combination, so I hope the story will turn out to be good!
Berry: I feel like I’m not into these types of shows anymore, but it is labeled as a mystery so that’s enough to get me interested.
Oki: Otome game you say. . . we’ll have to see how the adaptation starts off.
Midnight: This is another show that got axed from my sign up to cover list, because i would drive myself insane. It does look good though, I hope it turns out well. Otome adaptations are pretty hit or miss.
Shadow: I feel like I’m over otome based anime since a lot of them don’t end up being good. Depending on how I feel, I might give this one a shot just to see if it’ll be interesting.
Tsuyoku: Babylon from this season seems more up my alley, but I might check this one out just for the attractive dudes.
Quietcupcake: I’m with Tsuyoku on this one, I’m definitely more interested in Babylon. Also, most otome adaptions haven’t really sat well with me and I’ve ended up dropping most of them. I’d rather just play the game.

Points can also be received by winning at the school’s periodic Tenshou Gakuen Singing Contest, where many students compete. The members in the clubs work hard to win the contest for their goal.

Eva: I always give Idol animes a shot, and this one is no exception.
Berry: I don’t know if I’ll bother with this one. I like idol anime but there’s just so much and most are empty attempts at being good. I’ll see what the others say first before giving it a chance.
Oki: Awwww Idol Anime? groans
Midnight: I’m usually really into male idol animes, but they’re a little hard to cover. So i’ll stick to just watching this one.
Shadow: I’ve listened to some of the songs from this franchise, mostly because Aoi Shouta sung as one of the characters. There’s a 50/50 chance of this being good, but I’m willing to give it a couple episodes.
Tsuyoku: PASS – Not really into idol anime.

The third season of the PSYCHO-PASS TV anime.
Eva: PASS – NOPE. NOPE NOPE NOPE NOPE NOPE. The series first season’s premiere was terribly traumatic for me.
PSA: If you are unfamiliar/new to Psycho-Pass, and can’t stand extreme graphics blood and gore, steer clear of this series. It’s definitely not for everyone.
Berry: Psycho Pass is one of my favorite anime ever, and the second season was terrible. I’m just praying that the third season won’t be as awful, or else I might seriously cry.
Oki: drinks heavily and looks to Midnight Guess we’re here to suffer together. :’D
Midnight: I’ve been back and forth on this, i’ve sat and talked with Oki. I’ve gone from ‘Nope, no way, not after season 2’ to, ‘Maybe if it’s a different writer from season 2’ to, ‘Sure, you know what? No matter what, i’m going to give it a chance.’ So. Let’s see how this new cast of characters holds up and let’s see how this story is written. May it be better then season 2.
Shadow: PASS – Sorry, gonna have to Psycho PASS on this one. I’m sorry, I’m not funny. In all seriousness, the first episode of season 1 traumatized me so definitely a nope on this one.

Berry: Looks like it could be a pretty fun watch depending in which direction they’re going to take it. Comedy, drama, or both? It says it’s tagged with both but will there be a good balance?
Oki: Oh this could be really fun. We’ll see how episode one looks!
Midnight: HERE’S ANOTHER SHOW THAT GOT AXED JUST SO I COULD NOT DRIVE MYSELF CRAZY. This show looks so cool, it’s got a real Baccano kind of vibe to it and i’m really digging it.
Shadow: PASS – Not really digging the setting. Unless I hear it’s REALLY good, I’m probably just going to pass on it.
Tsuyoku: Huh! This looks pretty intriguing! I love Sherlock Holmes as a franchise too so I’ll give this a go.

The story revolves around the coming of age of boys in a junior high school’s soft tennis team, which is on the verge of shutting down.
Eva: Yup, count me in. This is my type of sports anime.
Berry: I think I’m more interested in this anime than I am the basketball one. This one seems more chill and looks character-focused, which in this case I lean toward to.
Oki: Sports make me gassy!
Midnight: This actually looks like my kind of sports anime, I might keep my ear to the ground to hear how it is and give it a shot. It’s probably a late season binge though, so no chance of me covering it.
Shadow: My friend seems excited about this one and the style does look cute. I’m pretty wary when it comes to sports anime so I might give it a look if I hear that it’s good.
Tsuyoku: PASS – Not really interested.

Set in a different Tokyo on a different world than ours, the story follows Tokunana, a unit of assembled misfits in the Metropolitan Police Department. Tokunana battles against “Nine” — an organization committing crimes in their zealous worship of the dragons that once roamed the world.

Eva: I do love these type of shows, so as long as it’s not too bloody (When it is not though? [Sweats)] and the plot is good, this is something I can see myself watching.
Berry: Dragons? That took quite a turn, though I’m not sure that’s enough to make me watch.
Oki: Dragons that once- stop it! I got so many animes to cover man!
Midnight:  You know what, this show had me at ‘dragons that once roamed the world’, not to mention i’m really digging the art which is what kept me away from Babylon. I do love me a good crime thriller.
Shadow: PASS – Not really interested in the genre.
Tsuyoku: I really like the character designs for this one, but there’s only so much investigation thriller, action, police I can put up with at once and I’m sticking to Babylon.

However, the robot sister is a little different from what she used to be….
Eva: Shit, forget about the premise, Peta Robo looks SO FREAKING CUTEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!! LOOK AT HER! But I am not sure if I’d ever get beyond the first episode… It needs to be like Miira no Kaikata level of cuteness overload for me to  stick with it.
Berry: PASS – You know, a premise like this would be great for a more serious, touching story. But I don’t think this show will go in that direction at all. Shame. :/
Oki: NO.
Midnight: Pass – Too Moe
Shadow: PASS – Looks too generically moe for me.
Tsuyoku: PASS – Seems very generic.

Berry: PASS – No mecha for me.
Oki: I could technically cover this but that is a commitment I would heavily regret.
Midnight: Pass – You will never know how much i dislike Gundam

OVERALL THOUGHTS

Eva: After a what had felt like a summer drought, this season look looking pretty solid! There are a lot of sequels and continuations to look forward to, and there’s a good chance that you probably at least seen one or two them, and if you haven’t, you really can’t go wrong with the majority of them being hot titles for a reason. This season is also especially exciting for me with the return of my two all-time favourite series Chihayafuru and Kono Oto Tomare, both being (as expected) my default picks I will be covering. Other titles that have my attention are Assassin’s Pride, Fate/Grand Order,  Honzuki no Gekokujou, Hoshiai no Sora and Stand My Heroes: PIECE OF TRUTH.
Berry: This season is looking pretty decent thankfully. The past two seasons have disappointed me greatly, so I’m hoping we can at least finish 2019 with a bang. Lots of sequels I’m looking forward to, and a bit of the newer shows are looking pretty good too. For reviewing, I’m setting my eyes definitely on High Score Girl II and Blade of the Immortal, with Pet being a maybe. Other shows I could possibly see myself reviewing, depending on the first episodes are Babylon, No Guns Life, and maaaybe Assassin’s Pride? But who knows. I’ll have a clean slate for Fall so I have more opportunity to pick up more shows, but I won’t go crazy.
Oki: This season looks pretty good in advance, but I already come into it a little stuffed with shows like Dr. Stone and Vinland Saga that will continue into next season. Pet and a few other shows look interesting enough to check out, but it sounds like the only new shows I might be tacking myself onto are My Hero Academia‘s Season 4 and the most likely to disappoint me, Psycho Pass 3. But hey, everyone likes watching bloggers slowly descend into madness, right? :’D
Midnight: You know, i’ve said it once and i’ll say it again. I always come into this preview with like, 1 or two shows in mind to sign up for, then stumble upon a bunch of things I find interesting and want to at least check out. I had to skip a few things as not to overwhelm myself. That said, I ended up with my name down on six things. Pet and Boku No Hero Academia season 4 are certainly my picks of the season. Though I am getting some really good vibes from Chuubyou Gekihatsu Boy and Keishicho Tokumu-bu Tokushu Kyoaku-han Taisaku-Shitsu Dai-Nana-ka: Tokunana, the ones I am most reluctant about are Psycho-Pass season 3(i still haven’t forgiven season 2) and Choujin Koukousei-tachi wa Isekai demo Yoyuu de Ikinuku you desu! We’ll see how they go though. Overall, a pretty solid season.
Shadow: This season is PACKED with sequels to an almost overwhelming extent and I’m super excited to watch some of them! I’m eager to be covering Nanatsu no Taizai again and while I’m wary about Radiant Season 2, I’m curious to see if it will do better compared to the first. There seems to be a lot of other shows that are interesting, but I’m more or less just curious about them and not super excited. Though I guess I’m mostly interested to see if Phantasy Star Online 2: Episode Oracle and ACTORS: Songs Connection are any good. Even if I know that they most likely will be bad. But I hope it’s a fun type of bad lol. Well, even if the newer shows don’t follow through, I’m sure that the sequel series will hold up the season!
Tsuyoku: I’m quite excited about Hero Academia S4! There are a few returning show that I’m sort of interested in and may continue (like Shokugeki no Souma, I haven’t watched S3) or start (like High Score Girl and Chihayafuru), but I’m more interested in picking up new titles! BEASTARS is one of those! I didn’t know it was going to be done in CGI and I’m both curious and cautious about the results. I’m up for Chuubyou Gekihatsu Boy hoping it’ll be some good comedy gold, looking forward to Babylon to see if I get my thriller fix and Kabukicho Sherlock just to see what’s up with that. I passed on a lot of shows because they seemed really generic or were from genres I don’t find appealing, but I’m glad to find there’s always at least one or two titles I’ll want to check out.
Quietcupcake: I was already pretty hyped about this season since we’re getting quite a bit of sequels! Namely, I just really want to watch Kono Oto Tomare, but also I’m really excited to watch the new season of Boku No Hero Academia ! Of the newer anime, I think I’m most excited to check out Beastars because it looks really unique. It was also something that I wasn’t sure about when checking out the premise, but dang they got me with the PV.  I really, really want Kabukichou Sherlock to be good because I just can’t figure out why I’m so drawn to it. Aside from these, I’m also hoping that Honzuki no Gekokujou and Hoshiai no Sora are going to some hidden gems of this season. All in all, we just really have a pretty solid line up for this season. ٩(●ᴗ●)۶

Shokugeki no Soma last arc was so bad it cause the manga to be cancel. The phrase “Evil Missing brother NTR Erina” kinda sum up what wrong with the last arc. Can’t wait to see that trainwreck in this season.
I would recommend Mairimashita! Iruma-kun since i read the manga and it quite an enjoyable series. It basically Rosaria X Vampire with the ecchi and harem stuff replaced by comedy and friendship.

It’s unusual for a season to have so many in the mystery/police department. Oh well I welcome the change in place and am looking forward to see my number 2- number 1 is obviously Detective Conan.

Kemonomichi’s creator is Akatsuki Natsume of Konosuba fame; so if you enjoy screwball fantasy comedy with weirdos bouncing off each other this’ll be your jam.
Btw, what happened to Fuzzy? I thought they were going to cover SAO Alicization Part 2.
PS. It also seems Alicization’s director will be handling the anime adaptation of the latest Shin Sakura Taisen/Project Sakura Wars PS4 game due next year. Is anyone here familiar with the Sakura Wars franchise?

Sorry I missed this comment! Fuzzy decided to retired a while back because it was getting increasingly difficult to balance blogging and school work. We wish him the best in his studies!
