The name of the episode perfectly describes this episode. It was literally a look into their daily lives. It was a basic “cute girls doing cute things” episode, which isn’t exactly my cup of tea. I don’t mind watching them hang out together because it was pretty sweet and they’re all good friends but to be honest the episode was a little boring.

In the beginning we see the girls training with the teacher watching over them. As they complete their session the teacher tells them to rest well for their next battle. Which then leaves us a montage of all the activities the girls do together. This includes strange dreams, the discovery of a love letter, trying on dresses and enjoying KAGAWA LIIIFE, and preparing an orientation for the new kiddies going to their school. Some moments were more entertaining than others, sometimes I would pay attention and then faze out. This episode was a good way for us to learn a little more about these girls, such as when they were talking about their dreams. With Washio being a history nerd and huge nationalist, Sonoko wanting to be a novelist, and Gin wanting to grow up to be a bride. I think my favorite parts of the episode were the Washio moments when she tried writing a history novel and got bad reviews, and when she had thought she had gotten a love letter but it was really a roast letter, each followed by a man screaming. Very silly and very hilarious.

It was a cute episode but the problem was that I felt like it dragged on. And since this was actually a segment from one of the movies, thinking of it in movie terms, I would have hated it because it took up a lot of time. Honestly it was mostly a pointless episode just to show us how cute these girls are. Probably before things go sour, judging from the ominous writing in the beginning.

There’s really not much for me to say on this episode. It was cute, but I wasn’t crazy about it. We hit the halfway mark in this arc so I can’t wait to see what’s next.
