The episode opens with the whole team doing their usual training in the park but this time it’s Sho who’s training them. They are doing push ups, and other exercises to reinforce their muscular mass but I don’t call those things “exercises”, to me it’s more “torture”. One thing to note is that everyone seems even more motivated than before. The whole team speaks of getting an official name, uniforms, a place to train and everything, looks like they want to be recognized officially.

vlcsnap-2016-07-27-09h47m49s721Sho says he’s going to teach them how to do stunts, which are different kind of group formations. However, even if he’s willing to teach them how to do it, he refuses to participate in those group figures and doesn’t give any good reason. All the episode Sho is acting weird  [weirder than before]. He seems concerned by something, doesn’t explain things and even refuses to go to the joint training Megane-Kun organized with the SPARKS. He even lies about having a part-time job and still doesn’t explain why. But the most concerning thing is that Sho won’t even go to the joint training, not even for the Mini-Skirts… that’s a real problem we got here.
Also his drawing skills sucks. I know I’m not the in a position to give advice regarding drawing but heh, those drawings are terrifying.

It looks like some exorcism session, or some ritual to summon a demon.

vlcsnap-2016-07-27-09h48m52s406Haru is designed to be the top [that’s a bit surprising, I never expected Haru to be the top ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)] who’s going to be thrown in the air and stuff. But like we all know, Haru has a fear of heights, and thus is stressed about those stunts and can’t do them. He finally admits his fear to the rest of the group but a bit late, since the training session is in a few days and Haru still can’t do the stunts.

Sadly when the day of the joint training comes, they are no mini skirts to be found. What a waste, but the girls are pretty damn talented and Haru’s possible love interest is also member of the SPARKS. They meet with Takagi coach, who promises to train them a bit. Haru armed with courage, tries to defeat his fears and to perform the elevator in front of the coach but doesn’t succeed. After seeing them performing, the coach tells them they lack trust, they need to trust each others in order to perform correctly, that advice is especially directed to Haru.

Before leaving the SPARKS gymnasium, the whole gang meets with two other people and…

wait a minute…
I recognize this face…

IT’S HAIR-BAND KUN!

I’VE MISSED HIM!

tumblr_oaxkcsUqwy1ul9te5o4_500As usual he’s a dick. Next to him, there’s the actual leader of the sparks called Domoto and who’s not really sympathetic either. Like everyone in this show, he’s like “you gotta give ur best, I hope you are really determined cuz this ain’t gonna be easy, but you are going to fail anyway lol”.
Also, those dudes apparently know Sho. They briefly mention that he has some passive with cheerleading but don’t explain anything. Another mystery then, gosh I really want to know what Sho is hiding, and why.

After that failure of a joint-training session, Haru invites everyone to his rooftop, to sum up the situation. On Haru’s rooftop they manage to find a name. They are going to be named “Breakers“. This name stands for all the things they want to break, like people saying they can’t do it or some stereotypes like “cheerleading is for girls”, and basically every single problem they might have.
I really like that name! I knew they were going to be called Breakers but I never thought the name would have had any signification. It makes sense and I think it’s the perfect name for them.

NOW GO AND BREAK IT ALL!

Fan girl Corner:

vlcsnap-2016-07-27-09h44m50s096Haru getting hiccup every time he hears the word “top” was adorable and funny at the same time. You’ll have to get used to it Haru, you’re going to hear that word quite often, if you know what I mean ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Also Sho’s drawings and the scene that followed were hilarious. Megane-kun was about to throw up while looking at them. Well, that’s a bit exaggerated if you ask me but still, poor, Sho. He was shaking with anger or shame… I don’t know which one it was, but it was cute.

It was nice to see all the guys trying to improve and help each other. I don’t think they trust each other entirely for the moment but hopefully we’ll get less training scenes in the park? It’s starting to get slightly repetitive. Of course I’m aware it’s the reality of cheerleading but still. I’m also glad the boys did not get mad at Haru for not telling them he was afraid of heights. It is nice to see that the show is not taking the path of cheap drama, I like that.

Now, looks like next episode they will do their first show on stage with dyed hair! I can’t wait to see how all the time they spent training is going to get rewarded!

Since today is my birthday, I decided to treat myself with a little something
There you go: Haru doing the nya-nya thing
