While watching this episode, you can easily tell that two chapters of the manga were adapted, thing that, in my opinion can only be told because the content of those chapters were different. If they were part of the same arc, I doubt the pacing would have seemed strange. So here we go, the first part talks a bit about Iida and the second part is the introduction to the final arc of the season, against the bad guys.

vlcsnap-2016-05-30-19h27m03s617Everybody  knows all that All might is  a teacher at Yuuei and because of that, teachers and students are constantly harassed by journalists in front of the school gates. Having such a popular hero like All might teaching at Yueii might be a good idea since he has a lot to share and stuff but can also be a double edged knife since the guy must have loads of ennemies. Enemies who could attack the school and endanger the life of the students. So in my opinion, it would have been better for the school administration to hide All Might’s presence at the school in order to avoid villain’s attacks or paparazzis, the latter being the most annoying kind.

For the first time in forever, the A class has to do a normal school activity: They have to decide on a class representative. Iida proposes a vote but did not expect that everybody would vote for themselves. Well, I don’t really know why so much people want to be class representative, what is so great about that post anyway, I never understood… probably because I never paid attention when the teachers were talking ahaha… But anyway, they all vote for themselves expect Uraraka and Iida who voted Deku . Therefore, Deku is  elected but somehow doesn’t feel like it’s the right thing.

vlcsnap-2016-05-30-19h30m41s688Obviously this episode’s first part focused on Iida’s character giving us a bit of background story and explanations on his motivations. He’s the second son of a family of superhero and proud little brother of a really famous and cool hero. His big brother was his first inspiration and role model but now, he’s also admirative of Deku since Iida thinks Deku has the perfect mentality to become a good hero.

When the alarm rings, because of the annoying paparazzi wanting some juicy info on all Might, Iida manages to calm everyone down. Thanks to Uraraka he manages to reach a clear point on the wall and tells everyone that “DAIIIIJOOOOBU DAIIIJOOOBU it was just the journalists”. Because of this incident Midoriya decides to give the post to Iida since he seems to be the most fit for it. Well, it seemed kind of obvious that Iida was born ready for this. His way of talking, of walking  and passion for rules clearly indicates that he’s the class president type. Even though this kind of stuff are just stereotypes of what a class president should be , here, those stereotypes are followed so eh, what can I do about it? He is also the only one in the class to have glasses… Yeesss….

So, with Iida’s class rep chapter closed what other notable things happened? vlcsnap-2016-05-30-19h35m18s341
Well, we got clear hints that All might is getting weaker and weaker which is not a really great thing since it’s unavoidable that now, vilains are going to attack him. Also, now begins the use of Bakugou as a comic relief, being pissed off and butt hurt by his classmates, barking more than biting.

All the kiddos have to go on a rescue training outside of the school and on the bus they talk about their quirks a bit. Tsuyu mentions that Deku’s quirk loos like All might’s but Deku somehow manages to get away with it. Then Bakgou tells everyone that he’s going to kill them. When they arrive at destination, they are welcomed by Thirteen, a hero who has a powerful and dangerous quirk. He gives them a little speech on how and why they should be careful when using their quirks since it can be dangerous for them, but also for the others. Right now I’m thinking of Midorya’s quirk which is extremely powerful. If it can eliminate any enemy pretty quickly it could also break his body into pieces Since the beginning, Deku only used it on lifeless things but if he hits someone without controlling it, he might completely explose that person, and himself, which not a really pleasing situation.

But before even starting the training, lots of vilains arrive, ready to fight. My first reaction was: IT’S HIIIIIIIIM!! IT’S THEEEEEM! THE VILLAINS, THE BAD GUYYYSS!! IT’S FACEPALM! THE MOST BAD GUY OF THE BAD GUYS! AAAAAAH! Oh boy, we’ll get some nice actions in the upcoming episodes fufu. Nice, nice and nice.

Apologies for the late post, I’m still at Uni and sadly, the exam period isn’t over yet.
