The reason why Keicho wants the bow and arrow all has to do with his difficult family. The Nijimura family always made me emotional, I just feel so sorry for them.

[HorribleSubs] JoJo's Bizarre Adventure - Diamond is Unbreakable - 05 [1080p].mkv0036After defeating Keicho, Koichi comes up with the good idea of looking for the bow and arrow. Because if they leave now that could mean more and more people are going to get killed by it. So they go upstairs to look for it. But they meet up with someone they didn’t think they’d meet, the Nijimura father. But he doesn’t appear human, and is more like a giant green blob. That’s when Keicho walks in and explains the reason his father looks like that is because of the cells from a man named Dio. Dio isn’t around anymore but he’s still ruining people’s lives, god! We learn some history about this family.

The Nijimura mother died of an illness when Keicho and Okuyasu were children. Back in 1988, the boys lived in Tokyo with their father. He was abusive towards them, letting out his anger on them from being in debt and not having a job. But then one day all of a sudden he was bringing in money and expensive things like jewels. But then one day Keicho arrived home to Okuyasu crying, and their father on the floor in pain. It’s then that he transforms to what we know now. He became like that after Dio was killed. Keicho learned that his father had sold himself to Dio and had became a Stand user and had a flesh bud in him.

So this implies that the other Stand users that worked for Dio that weren’t killed, like Hol Horse, the Oingo Boingo brothers, Mariah, etc. also had the same fate because they also had Dio’s cells, right? I actually never thought about that too much before but the thought came to me. That the Stand users Jotaro and company didn’t kill, must be suffering the same thing. Right? Even little Boingo? RIGHT??? 🙁

Keicho obtained the bow and arrow and has been using it because he wants to find a Stand user that can kill his father and give him a normal death. There’s no way for him to die no matter what they try. Keicho believes he can’t move on until his father dies. But things change when Josuke and Koichi notice their father rummaging through a trunk. Josuke sees ripped pieces of paper and uses Crazy Diamond to fix it, and when he does, it’s a family photo. The father reacts and starts sobbing. He still has some memories inside him, so that means he can still be saved. Okuyasu walks in after listening and tells Keicho they should stop, and instead of finding someone to kill their father, they should find someone to fix him. Josuke even offers to help.

[HorribleSubs] JoJo's Bizarre Adventure - Diamond is Unbreakable - 05 [1080p].mkv0051But a Stand suddenly appears from the electrical outlet and captures Keicho. He takes Keicho and the bow and arrow with him and the boys jump to the roof, because Josuke had noticed someone looking in. But when they step on the roof, they see Keicho’s corpse burned on the telephone poles. Even though they had a rocky relationship, Okuyasu truly did love his brother and knew that his brother was defending him.

Afterwards, the Stand user of the electrical Stand we saw, Red Hot Chili Peppers (*sigh*), calls Jotaro at the hotel and tells him to get the hell out of Morioh. Of course Jotaro is like no way, who the fuck are you. And he learns that this guy has the bow and arrow. He and Josuke being threatened if they try to do anything, the Stand user destroys the phone. So Jotaro of course is going to stay.

So now the show is going to focus on trying to find the bow and arrow again. If the bow and arrow get into the wrong hands, it could cause chaos, so our main guys are going to have to do something quick. And adding a little scene in the end, we learn Okuyasu is going to be going to the same school as Josuke and Koichi, and he pays Josuke a visit since they’re basically neighbors. Finally, my three sons have gathered!

Next, Koichi is going to have his time to shine, and then he won’t look so awkward in the OP.

Unfortunately still a weeb

Not that Hol Horse is trustworthy, but DIO only puts his flesh bod on his untrustworthy minions (or ones that he knew would turn against him as soon as possible like Polneroff and Kakyoin). Mr. Nijimura is one that is simply untrustworthy.

Yeah but he even put one in Enyaba even though she seemed the most trustworthy to him, so that means he must have put more of the flesh buds in the others. Maybe all of them. I would suspect that Vanilla and Terrence maybe didn’t, but Dio’s the type not to trust others easily.
