From now on, the main goal for Midoriya is to learn how to control his new quirk. He might have strengthened his body with the 10 months of training but One for All is such a powerful quirk that, like we saw in the previous episode, using it breaks his body into pieces.

Midoriya is finally going to Yueei Academy and before leaving his house, his mom tells him that he’s cool. I’d love someone to tell me that I’m cool too… eh… Guess I should go through ten months of intense training then… yeah… I’ll just stay a trash then, Trashibo sounds nice.
Midoriya’s mom is not the only one realizing that Midoriya is cool, there’s also All Might who believes in Midoriya to the point of making him the heir of his quirk, Uraraka because Midoriya saved her, Iida who realized that Midoriya has the mental to be a true hero, and Bakugou because Bakugou is the best.
Here I go, Bakugou fan girl number one, I’ll probably never be able to shut up about him, he just joined the long list of things that I cannot stop talking about, along with Allen Walker and Terra e... Good grief…

vlcsnap-2016-05-04-11h34m53s478There’s 2 classes for first year students so Midoriya  has 1/2 chances to be in the same class as Bakugou and Megane Kageyama so of course, because of plot convenience, he ends up in their class. Well, it is convenient but necessary, the story would not make any sense if he was in another class, and I get to see Bakugou more often, so why should I rant about this?

I really laughed at the scene between Bakugou and Iida, Bakugou calling him a side character was amazing, which is actually kind of true. By the way, I think Bakugou’s seiyuu does a great job at voicing him, especially with the “teeeemeeee” and “bukorooooooshite” parts. Aaaah, such a lovely boy. I also love how Iida walks, like he’s at the army or as if he was a robot. It fits its personality quite well, he’s a bit awkward but that’s why we like him.

vlcsnap-2016-05-04-11h41m49s881They meet with Aizawa, their homeroom teacher who is an accurate representation of myself on Sunday mornings after a night out. Actually, an accurate representation of myself every morning. He doesn’t lose any time and send them to the training filed where they’re going to pass various physical tests to evaluate their quirks and abilities. Of course it’s quite problematic for Midoriya since using his quirk would break his body and knowing that there is 8 tests, he has to do his best in all of them while keeping his body safe. Plus, the one ranking last in the tests will be expelled so yeah, Midoriya situation’s is tight, tight as a thong. Is it the right expression? I don’t think so… but heh, do I even care anymore? Nope.

So in the tests, Midoriya does his best without using his power. Because everyone is using their quirks they obviously do better than Midoriya. Expect Uraraka, who, even is she used her zero gravity quirk to lightened up her clothes, did a poor time at the running test and was beaten by Midoriya. Which shows that even without using his quirk, Midoriya can still be strong and even stronger than some hero gifted with quirks.

vlcsnap-2016-05-04-11h51m04s158We also saw the quirks of some students but a bit too quickly in my opinion. My poor Denki and Todoroki were extras in this episode… Speaking of Todoroki, we could sometimes see him in the background, poor ikemen of the show, he didn’t speak at all. Too bad, really too bad, I really wanted to hear Yuki Kaiji though. It’s not like we get the chance to hear him that often, poor Yuki Kaiji, give him more more screen time plz ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Wow, I realize that I’ve reached a really high level of salt in this review, I should chill a bit.

Eraser head aka Aizawa was concerned about Midoriya and his quirk so he erased it and then gave it back. He thought that Midoriya wouldn’t be able to become an hero because he had no control of his quirk and therefore that he would be a burden since everyone would have to save, heal him after he used his quirk. By telling this to Midoriya he made him realized this fact but because Midoriya is awesome and really determined he was able to come up with a solution. By concentrating his power on his finger, he was able to throw the ball at full power, only breaking his finger. This way, he proves Aizawa wrong, impresses everyone and makes All Might proud once again.

Hurray for Midoriya who continues to be cool and he won’t stop here, I can assure you.
