I wonder if anyone else is watching this show…

Okay I’m just going to go sweet and simple with this one as this episode didn’t have much for me to rant on or go into detail on something stupid as I didn’t really care about the mascot. So Hakone is staying over at Haruna’s place, Haruna has to go to the Neighbor Association meeting and when Hakone learns that important people go there then that means that she has to go too. So they go, Tohya is there too, and then the meeting commences and Hakone falls asleep because it’s so boring. Haruna takes her away from the meeting so she can have fun and meet the mascot of the town, Hakoneko.

This blocky cat thing. And Hakone is terrified of this thing. When the kid next to her starts crying and yelling that he’s scared, Hakone fights the mascot away by spraying water at it. The association see this and are impressed and Haruna hides Hakone’s powers by saying that she’s really good at doing magic tricks. Hakone does more stuff by spraying water from one of the hot springs, and then the association make Hakone to be the Tour Ambassador. Which means it’s her job to point out all the good things of the town to attract more tourism.

And she’s psyched. And that’s where we end the episode. I don’t know what this has to do with getting her powers back, but I knew with this format that the show was just going to focus on the comedy. I mean it’s cute. It was cute how Hakone was scared of the mascot and acted tough and tried to be the hero, so I don’t hate it. It’s just that not really anything is happening. This is just something to watch for a few minutes for a maybe a laugh and a smile, and then you watch something else. So…that’s that.

Her expressions are cute, too.

Unfortunately still a weeb

*raises hand* I’m watching it too! However, I had other commitments this weekend *coughrokkanoyuushacough*

Anyway, goodness all around except maybe for all the things having to be hung out to dry. Still, I hope her new position is one of prosperity! Even for a small series it can be a big step in helping her adjust and appreciate the way things are now, rather than just be an (adorable) gag failure event.
