We move on to the third episode and there are no breaks on the feels train. Well, there are breaks to continue to show us that Takajo is a total and complete dork that is too cute for living. This series has tragedy written all over it and he’s far too happy, what kind of horrid secret are you hiding Takajo?! I’M SUSPICIOUS OF YOU, but strangely amused by your antics.

Well enough about Takajo for now, because this isn’t his episode to reveal to us the sadness hidden by the derp. Instead, we have an idol that we actually heard about back in episode 1, Yusa Nishimori. The cute blonde idol girl, you were in the opening. So, what are her powers? Well, at first, we think that she has two of them. That’s pretty unusual so it’s up to the student council to figure out what’s going on and protect her.
The two powers are being possessed by the dead, though she has no control over it and Pyrokanisis. Not entirely sure how that one is incomplete.

Though she’s not the one with two powers, or more like, she has one power but her deceased older sister posesses her body and has a power of her own. Her older sister is AMAZING, I adore Misa! She has to be my favorite character in the whole series so far! She’s just so crass, and harsh and blunt and adores setting everything on fire!

She’s also very sweet and cares about her younger sister very much. I feel as if family is the big theme of this show. Between Tomori and her brother, Yuu and his sister, and Misa and Yusa. We’ve been nearly suffocated with family feels. Also, what about that missing family member of Yuu’s that they discussed back in the first episode?

The part that totally killed me though in this episode is when the guy who used to be Misa’s friend, confessed her love to her. Having to let go, move past the history they have and into the future. Accept the fact that she’s dead, that he needs to move on and walk a path without her. These powers don’t last forever, so when Yusa’s powers eventually fade. He wouldn’t be able to talk to Misa again anyway.
I’M NOT CRYING, YOU’RE CRYING. I WAS CHOPPING ONIONS AND I HAVE A DUST ALLERGY. -sobs-

So Yusa will be transferring into the academy and joining the student council. How will the star struck Takajo deal with having his idol around him at all times, will his idol crush be ruined by her totally scary older sister? What kind of dark family secret is Takajo hiding? Will Yuu EVER stop being a total bag of jerk!? Not that I mind if he doesn’t, I actually like him the way he is now but I’m just curious.
We’ll see.
