So this episode is about Terasaka, but let me talk about how amazing Karma is! While the focus of the episode is on Terasaka, Karma really shines in his own way. In almost every way, he’s the opposite of Terasaka. As Itona says, Terasaka is the slow dim-witted cow, chewing the before it and he’s no match for the wolf, with the cow killing vision.
So while this episode is about Terasaka, they make a point to show you that he is inferior to Karma. I am of course, totally okay with this.

So, Terasaka hates Koro-sensei. He hates him a lot, it makes it harder to do the things he wants to do. Which is be lazy and step all over those who are weaker than him. So, because of his hate, he teams up with Itona and mysterious guy in robes to come up with a plan to kill Koro-sensei. Of course, to set up for this, we have to learn one very important thing about Koro-sensei first.
This important point? He can’t swim. Why? Because, his tentacles absorb water and weigh him down.

He makes a good life-guard though
He makes a good life-guard though

Step one: Release an allergen that will only affect Koro-sensei, making him run snot all over the place and use up his protective mucus.

Step 2: Get as many members of the class as you can to get into the pool that Koro-sensei made for them.

Step 3: Blow up the dam and put all the students in danger

Oh no wait, nobody told Terasaka that part? Well maybe he shouldn’t be such an easy target to manipulate. Then we wouldn’t be having this problem of his classmates almost dying. Of course, since Koro-sensei is very protective of his students. So despite the personal risk to himself, he goes in to save them. This is when Itona strikes.
So now he’s fighting with an advantage, with Koro-sensei water logged and students still in danger. Terasaka is riddled with guilt for putting all his classmates in danger and this brings me back to Karma.

Pretty much telling him to own up to what he did, so he asks Karma to give him a plan to help Koro-sensei and save the remaining students in danger. Karma, comes up with the best plan. The plan, well it goes a little something like this.

Step 1: Release an allergen that will only affect Koro-sensei and Itona and get him to give up part of his protective mucus

Step 2. Get him wet and weigh him down with water.

Wait, are you telling me that this sounds familiar? Well, it is, it’s pretty much the same backhanded techniques that they used on Koro-sensei turned around on them. I don’t blame the E-class for not liking this guy or Itona. These kids want to kill Koro-sensei on their own terms, a killing machine like Itona and his keeper are just…besides, there is a cash prize on the line. Also, despite everything. Despite knowing that he is going to blow up the earth and knowing that he’s their assassination target.
He’s their teacher, a kind, wonderful teacher, who builds them a pool on a hot day. I didn’t get to cover the last episode with Itona in it, but i did watch it and I wasn’t too fond of him then and I’m not too fond of him now.
I do hope that he’ll get to join the E-class sooner or later and be turned into a more interesting character than just a killing machine. I don’t think it’s this stories style to leave a character like that for long.

Overall, this was Terasaka’s character arc. Showing what kind of guy he is, I sort of doubt he’ll move more into the limelight after this or anything. It was just elaborating on a character that’s been there in the background from the very beginning. I liked this episode, mostly because it glorified Karma and anything that makes him look awesome is good in my book.
I wonder how this anime is going to end…will we ever get to see what Koro-sensei looked like as a human? [I’m just, flying with this theory now. Since we have Itona.], what about that woman in his backstory? Why does he want to teach the E-class in the first place? SO MANY QUESTIONS, but we still have time to answer them. So come along episode 15, tell us more.

Itona’s handler is Shiro. It’s a pretty easy name to remember.

There is not much to like about Itona right now. He had some funny moments (vs the wall) but he is just a pet/lab rat. As long as Shiro owns him, he will not develop.
Imagining Karma in a cowboy costume and Terasaka in a cow costume…..
Also, Nagisa is not a guy, just a really, really flat girl…..

Both the Assassination Classroom anime and live action movie are getting sequels each.
