Our group investigates the strange sudden sleeping across Akihabara, and other parts of the world. From what they saw, it only affected the People of the Land. They fell into a deep sleep with their MP being completely drained. What’s causing this is a new monster, a giant moth. The drop their scales onto people, which causes them to sleep and drain their MP. These moths most likely came from the Observers world, the moon. They must be another type of “Genius” monster. Why could they be taking MP? Roe 2 did mention something about empathions, but they never knew what it was so they guess MP must be it.

The next night, the swarm of moths make their appearance again, and this time adventurers get affected as well. They try fighting them off, but some have already been knocked out with their MP gone. Sou’s guild does some investigating, and find where the moth’s nest is. In Shibuya, in the building where the antenna is. The same antenna that can possibly let them communicate with the moon. But the building in Shibuya is now a raid zone. So Shiroe creates a full raid group consisting of the people that never fell asleep when making contact with the moth scales. Before they even make it to Shibuya, people already take notice how strangely Shiroe is acting. Twice in the episode, he was about to do his trademark pushing up of his glasses, but never did. So that right there tells you something is wrong with him.

Well, they make it to Shibuya, and monsters take no time to come out and attack. It’s all kinds of monsters coming out from random areas, and right now, the group isn’t doing well. Unfortunately, Shiroe wasn’t able to have time to investigate the area beforehand, so he has no idea what to expect from the place. Also, he keeps thinking about their objective. If they break the antenna, which they think will defeat all the moths, then they’ll lose their only chance of returning home. But if they don’t destroy the antenna, then he’ll feel guilty about leaving the world and the People of the Land in a terrible state. So with all of this in mind, Shiroe is doing terribly. He keeps second guessing himself when issuing orders, and the group is becoming exasperated with him. They actually make it into the building, but they’re outpowered, and they retreat.

Shiroe apologizes for screwing up, but basically everyone snaps some sense back into him, and say they want to stay in the world, want to help people in the world, and if they break the antenna, then it doesn’t mean that they’ll never go home. So Shiroe goes back to his usual self, pushes up his glasses, and decides to try to save both: the state of the land and the antenna.

Next week will be the finale of this season, and I wonder just what is going to happen. There’s still so much to be done, and another season seems obvious. I wonder if they will be able to save the antenna, while also defeating those moths.
