Cardfight!! Vanguard Legion Mate [Episode 174 + 175]

The first episode features the fight between Kamui and Cera. Kamui is immediately cocky and wants him to lead him to Aichi, which kind of throws off and encourages Cera both, as he’s one of those ‘hope is useless’ douchebags who looks like a poor man’s Ribbons Almark (IF THAT WASN’T POOR ENOUGH??) Cera uses neo nectar but he has a pretty lady card so I’m okay with that. To be honest, the cards he uses just looks like cards douchebags would use. YOU’RE A DOUCHEBAG CERA. (or serra or whatever)

Cera takes a different route and steadily implies Aichi does not want to be found and he’s not interested in seeing Kamui again. As you know this makes Kamui, who has the tact and patience of a hungry baby, fidgety and prone to stupid errors and arguing. Fucking Kamui. I had hope for Misaki, if you win I’ll be shocked as hell. He then summons King…of flowers…of fucking course Cera uses fucking king of flowers. Anyway Kamui wastes his quintlet shield because he obviously wants legion, but shouldn’t he save it to guard against THEIR legion so he can turn around and have legion and kill them when they’re weakened? Wouldn’t that be the best course of action? Come on guys here elementary mistakes, Watson would be pissed.

Why the fuck is the ice guy using flowers? He and Rati must have grabbed each others fields and just went with it. Most of this episode is a pissing contest between Cera and Kamui, and I like Kamui even less than Cera when his stalker isn’t here to make me feel bad for him. OMG Kamui doesn’t even make it the whole episode, that’s kind of sad compared to EVERYONE ELSE HE KNOWS.

We then cut to Kai going to see- AHAAAHAHAAAAAAA REEEEN /FANGIRLS/ Moe adorable so cute hot guy ren that I love in the faaaaaaaaaaaaec

Kai and Ren proceed to fight over knowledge of the Quatre Knights, and I proceed to fangasm over the hotness that is REN. Actually we start off in Card Capitol seeing Emi fight some of her friends in Vanguard, but you know whatever same thing. Then we see the Quatre Knights re convening to discuss matters after they beat Aichi’s friends. They discuss how they don’t think the friends are giving up, but that it doesn’t matter…someone else knows information too, don’t they?

Ren and Kai’s duel is very intense right away and REN IS SO SMUG AND HOT ABOUT IT. I mean what. Kai summons Sing Saver Dragon (or thing saver if you rely on subs….thanks guys!) Ren acts coy and them summons Phantom Blaster and Kai. . . . . .. .come the fuck on kai THE PERSON WHO LEGIONS FIRST ALWAYS LOSEs WHEN WILL YOU PEOPLE LEARN THIS? I’d be commenting more but. . . I can’t stop staring at Ren’s face every turn so uhm.

Ren gets a fucking legion speech and omg and his creepy music I HAVE SUCH…A PROBLEM…FOR REN. A problem. His legion is most certainly fucking terrifying though, and what the fuck did I say about summoning Legion second ya poser Kai? After another exchange and a monologue they end up 5-5 due to a critical boost to Phantom Blaster Abyss. It seems like Ren will win, but Naoki intercepts and begins to monologue. What the hell is with the monologues in card game shows?

Kai is motivated thanks to this, and assures them he can win. Ren manages to block but Kai activates his ability which allows him to resummon his legion mate and stand again. He wins, but it’s very clear Ren allowed him to win because he was impressed by his resolve. Ren says he has a promise to keep, but gives them a photo and tells them to go there. He watches them leave, with jealousy. Meanwhile Misaki and Kamui meet up with them, beaten up, and they all resolve to go to the place on the photo….
