…Your review style is… interesting, but yeah, I have found myself strangely captivated by this anime even before it started airing, and the first episode has only increased that. Really I shouldn’t be: “from the creator of Elfen Lied” should be a big warn-off sign for me, because tragedy, suffering, and death of characters that I care about are not things that I can handle well at all. But… I need to keep watching this. Something about it just pulls me in, no matter how much I tell myself I’ll regret it. Yeah, Kurohaneko is gorgeous as hell, but wouldn’t be enough to keep me watching something that I’m sure is going to rip my heart out.

Oh, and I really like the OP. I’ve seen some folks complaining about the dubstep in it, but if that turns them off it’s their loss, I say. I think the OP sounds awesome.

My review style is and will always be a caricature. To be honest for shows I’ve really gotten into the gritty sense of, I go completely serious and even complete my sentences! But for now the first episode had very little to go, MAN THE PSYCHOLOGY OF THIS MAKES ME CONSIDER MY LIFE IN EXISTENTIALISM!!!

I feel you about this show though- I see only heart break coming my way. But that opening….sobs.
