In the previous episode of Fairy Tail Aradios and Yukino were thrown in prison for divulging top secret information to Natsu and the gang, Lucy was also put in the same cell as Yukino but the others didn’t face any consequences. It’s the last day of the Daimatou Enbu and the A team now has Juvia as the replacement while Natsu, Mirajane, Wendy  and the cat squad use the opportunity to save Lucy while the majority’s attention is on the games.

And so it continues…Fairy 1The plan is to find suitable camouflage to get into the dungeons to get Lucy out, just in case plan A fails of winning the Daimatou Enbu. That, and it’s always good to have a fallback plan in case the first idea is shot to hell. But Fairy Tail must win! They will win so that the prophesy can be fulfilled!

So, while Happy’s idea of camouflage was very creative and without the slightest bit of suspicion coming off these costumes (Mirajane looks spectacular!), Mirajane had another idea and disguised herself as a guard, bringing in prisoners (Natsu and Wendy).

Fairy 2Meanwhile at the games, everyone’s getting pumped. Quatro Puppy is at the bottom of the survival chain of winning the games, Blue Pegasus holds 5th place, Mermaid Heel is 4th, Lamia Scale is in third place, Sabertooth is only one point away from pushing Fairy Tail to second place.

The A team is determined to win this for their guild mates who stood in the face of adversary and tried to uphold the name of Fairy Tail for those seven years when the star members had disappeared. ANTE UP!

FAIRY 5…but before they begin, a moment of meditation and silence…to remember how far they’ve come. To just take in the ambience and awesomeness of this moment…finally making it to the grand finale of the finale of the Daimatou Enbu! While the other guilds are gaining points or being wiped out as they come face to face with other guild members, the A team stands still…clock ticking in their minds; biding their time, calculating the right time to start moving. Just as Mavis told them to.

Fairy 3Mavis a.k.a the Fairy Tactician. This woman child is a BEAST! Spitting calculations, strategies, the next moves, her musings on how best they can deal with Jura; all with a cool and calm yet fierce and determined expression. Like Macao said, she’s not only there for her soothing presence. Mavis means business, and Fairy Tail might win if her battle plans remain as flawless as they were this episode.

Fairy 6Meanwhile, Natsu and the others have again fallen into another trap and is now sealed inside Hell’s Palace; the place of “freedom” for criminals. Dried bones and skeletons everywhere, the atmosphere is pretty damn gloomy here and fitting to have it’s own Cerberus guarding the doors…if there are any down there. The princess, Hisui, speaks to them using a mirror; telling them to rot there in prison. Quite harsh coming from such a seemingly harmless young lady. However, it seems that was just a façade because she looked troubled and full of regret after saying something so terrible to my Natsu and Mirajne..plus the others. She’s also ready to set the Eclipse Project in motion now that the final day of the games is here.

Fairy 7The next episode…GRAY vs. RUFUS, the memory make/ Zorro type guy. Gray, FIGHTING! Rooting for you all the way Fullbuster!!! ALL DAY ERR’DAY!

The only real threats for Fairy Tail are Jura, Kagura and…Minerva, I think. While Sting may be O.D’ing on some power now that his only friend, Lecter, is gone (and I feel for him, I really do)…I don’t think he’ll be a real threat to the A team.
