MegaHouse’s GEM Series Tiger & Bunny Kaburagi T. Kotetsu Scale Figure

Today I will cover MegaHouse’s GEM Series Tiger & Bunny Kaburagi T. Kotetsu Scale Figure that actually came out waaaayyyy back in September, but only was released by Navito World earlier in January (since I was too late to purchase him at HobbySearch, AmiAmi and CDJapan). Nevertheless, it was worth the long wait. Tiger & Bunny’s Kaburagi T. Kotetsu, otherwise known as Wild Tiger is my first male scale figure within my collection. There aren’t that many male figures period so when they do come out, it is important to support their sales.

As some of you may know, Kotetsu is one of my most favorite characters of all time. He is also my very first “Hero” since his character inspires me and despite being fictional, makes a great role model.

Kotetsu’s scale figure is very simple, yet very well done. He comes with a total of four optional heads (two with and without his hat and one each with and without mask). There are no instructions included in the package so I was a bit wary of how the head would be pulled out, but it’s very simple so there’s no need to fret about it until it were to suddenly get stuck (which is unlikely due to how its molded). The base of his stand is transparent green with his name and mascot on it which helps prevent it from turning out bland. Surprisingly my favorite ‘head’ is in fact his hat without the mask. I was almost certain I would choose to place his mask + hat head, but what can I say- he has a handsome face, it would be a shame to hide it behind the mask. /SLAPPED

Unfortunately MegaHouse’s GEM Series Tiger & Bunny Kaburagi T. Kotetsu is no longer available. There’s his: 12PM Wild Tiger by Bandai, but that’s a massive one (THAT GLOWS) and not to mention costs a fortune (even more than Ultimate Madoka and Insane Black Rocket Shooter Scale Figures!!!) that was released in December. But if you’re interested it is still available/in stock at AmiAmi, HobbySearch and CDJapan.
