Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun Ep 2- My little rooster, my little rooster

This week on Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun, Haru must decide who he loves more- Shizuku or a rooster.

Except that’s not what happens at all.

So of course this week I was anxiously awaiting this anime. So yesterday I downloaded it raw and watched it all, and mostly understood it, except all of the glorious sexual innuendo. Stop it show. Stop it or put out. YOU CAN’T TEASE ME THIS WAY YOU JUST CAN’T.

So Shizuku is totally in lurve with Haru. The whole episode is pretty much her going OMG OMG OMG I CANT DEAL WITH THIS I AM SOCIALLY AWKWARD. She even asks Haru if he loves her in a romantic way to which he says I’D TOTALLY DO YOU

Dammit anime, stop it. Stop it or I’m writing porn. PUT OUT OR STOP IT DAMMIT

Then a girl who is completely me comes into the story. She is stupid and begs Shizuku to help her study, because she sucks. Shizuku refuses, but her persistence pays off because Haru is moved by her reason to request help. Studying commences.

Also, the rooster is following them around. As you can already see, the deep and complicated relationship between Haru and his rooster is already causing Shizuku trouble. Will I ever be able to accept that rooster? She wonders, as Oki thinks up more porn centric double entendres because this show encourages her too much.

Haru begins to help Natsume but Shizuku is busy being conflicted about Haru’s rooster- I mean if she loves Haru or not. She scares Haru’s rooster and eats dinner THIS IS TOO EASY I’LL STOP I PROMISE.

Haru comes looking for Natsume who I assume has gone into a math coma much like myself. But then he explains that now he doesn’t feel empty inside because of Shizuku, but he looks like he can’t see anything when he’s explaining that.

As we proceed through the episode, Haru’s chicken bothers people, especially the teacher. She repeatedly tells him not to bring it out during school. To which Shizuku is annoyed. (That does not happen)

Shizuku ends up realizing that loving Haru has opened a doorway for her, and so she’s very happy. The episode ends with her confessing she loves him.

BUT I KNOW IT’S TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE

NO WAY CAN I EVER HAVE MY WAY IN THESE SHOWS

EITHER HE REJECTS HER OR HE’S HIT BY A BUS NEXT EPISODE, BET YOU MONEY. I am going for he leaves Shizuku for his chicken. It’s a common problem among teenage boys.

You know both of these main characters are very young, and probably don’t have a clue about real love. I’m excited to see how it plays out.

Also I like Haru’s rooster.
