K Episode 4: Searching for an Alibi
Shiro starts looking for an alibi to prove his innocence that he is the the one who was behind the murder. However with many spectacles taking place to divert the crowd’s attention, finding proof of his presence being at the academy during the time becomes difficult.
WELL SHIT. SHIRO REALLY IS THE COLORLESS KING! HE HAS THE BLOODY CLOTHES AND OH MY GOD, HE REMEMBERS!!!!!! HOLY SHIT WHAT A TURN OF EVENTS. Oh Snap. So much of being innocent. He must have some sort of split personality or something. Oh perhaps this might be part of his psychic abilities? That would be interesting.
WAIT, SOMETHING JUST CLICKED IN MY HEAD JUST NOW!
The murder took place on December 7th, 23:45, rooftop of Hirasaka Building
Shiro now has an alibi that he was in the school’s gymnasium at 00:30.
He claims that it’s impossible to get to the murder location and back to the school again within that time frame.
BUT! Throw Neko into the picture, and it makes it entirely possible. With her distortion abilities to help run a distance or completely change locations on the whim, would allow Shiro to get back to the campus within the “impossible” time frame.
Dammnnnnn, it would be so fascinating if Neko also lost her memories as well or was involved in some way.
– Okay done. Continuing where I left off.
I am more surprised that nobody found those bloody clothes yet. I am surprised Kuroh hasn’t gone through his closet yet, but if Shiro keeps the clothes there, then Kuroh or the Blue and Red Team will find it sooner or later.
Throughout the episode, the first thing that clicked in my head was the fact Shiro doesn’t carry his PDA around and that he has another way to sneak out of the academy without having his name ticked off. So I am happy that they covered that rather than possibly ignoring it. Small details like that can be easily forgotten because of overshadowed events. The fact Shiro doesn’t carry around his PDA plays a crucial role in this murder case. I am curious whether there are possibly evidence of some sort that could maybe explain more about the nature of this character that he seems to have no recollection about until now. But truthfully speaking, the idea of the PDA being a major clue to the case is considerably slim to no chance at all.
I recall during Episode 1, where there’s a white hair dude dancing with a masked woman that seems to be very much like a doll considering how lifeless she appeared to be. I am curious whether this is Shiro’s inner mind or is somehow related to him. If that’s the case, I wouldn’t be surprised if the woman he’s dancing with turns out to be Neko’s “human shell” or whatever.
Oh yeah speaking of Neko, I was surprised that out of blue that everyone is able to see her on occasion… Well I suppose it depends on what forms she takes on… still, it is a bit confusing… I think it’s a bit too much to hope that they would clarify how it works at some point. Otherwise it’s up to our imagination and really all there is to is not to over-think about it.
Kuroh you loveable dork! He is so obsessed with his former master that it’s a bit creepy, but all at the same time he is such a dork! He is so picky about how the food is supposed to turn out, impatient and ends up helping Neko get dressed into her costume (which I still don’t understand why they even bothered to dress up when they were the only ones in the entire campus who were in the first place), and to top things off, he couldn’t help but have cute flashbacks of his days while training with his master when Shiro was ‘defending’ Neko.
With both the Blue and Red team targeting Shiro’s school, I’m pretty sure the Culture Festival will go down in flames of some sort. If not I expect some serious pranks going on to help Shiro keep out of their clutches.
Oh one more thing: Kuroh x Kukuri!
I SHIP IT!
