I was a little disappointed that they didn’t make the boar scene a little bit funnier. Since in the manga version this scene was more or so like this:

The Mages, “So, Kusanagi Godou, can you send that God Beast (the boar) back to where it belongs?”

    Godou, “Errrrr….yeah….. I would like to do that if I could…. but….”

Erica, “Once it completely tramples its target it should return gladly by itself. The problem is, what was the target you aimed it at? Since it only accepts ‘large’ targets, that target isn’t me, right?”

Godou, “Its not that… Even though I thought about it and I know it’s gonna get messy… But because there was no target present other than ‘that’, so… I couldn’t resist…”

    Boar, “GROWLS…..”

The Mages, “Something ‘large’? (birds eye view of the Colosseum) Are you telling me…..!!!”

(Godou and Erica running away while the Mages are in the line of sight between the Boar and the Colosseum)

The Mages, “Why is this happening!!!!!”

    (Boar crashes into Colosseum)

For three days after this, the huge news about ‘Terrorist bombing in Rome! The mysterious destruction of the Colosseum’ that was broadcasted by media around the world. This is the truth behind what people heard about.

Thanks for the input, you are absolutely right that it made much more sense in the manga then. I’m glad that in the manga people were a little more sane about it and they didn’t act like if nothing important happened and as if destroying the Colosseum was something completely natural.
