The team are assigned to a top secret mission that involves retrieving a fragment of the mystical legendary Aquarion.
Rather than finding this absolutely hilarious, I found it… just plain weird, if not silly.
I mean, Aquarion EVOL always pulls these jokes, but this round just… well- didn’t click with my humour. The bath and the bananas (the bananas are a classic and were to be expected), was just another sexual joke.
Zessica feels that she needs to change herself because the kind of girl she is isn’t the kind that (in her mind) boys like. I feel sad that she would go as far to feeling she’s not good enough as being herself. it’s a real shame too since Zessica is a badass character. She’s strong minded, and has a heck of a lot of courage and determination. Fortunately, next week it looks like it will expand on that.
On the extra note: Zessica, your dress is cute, but the chest part is more revealing… err suppose you could say, erotic than the first one. O_O;
Poor Andy, man he had it rough. The guy did all her could to muster up the courage to confess to MIX, only to fail doing so. I pitied the guy because failed to say it properly. He forgot the ‘heart’ bit and it was already too late when he tried to correct himself. Well I’m sure he’ll get another chance, MIX most certainly does have an attraction towards him. And hey, maybe she will be the one to confess? Unlikely as it may seem, it would be a pleasant surprise she she manages to get over her, “LOVE IS FORBIDDEN, ITS NOT WORTHY, STOP THINKING ABOUT IT!” mind set.
It kind of bothers me that Mikono keeps on having misunderstandings with Zessica’s and Amata’s relationship. I’m hoping that this episode will have finally wrapped that bit up since Zessica revealed she was rejected. We also didn’t see her think about Kagura at all this episode, but it has to do with the fact she had very little screen time.
Finally regarding the fragments that are part of mystical legendary Aquarion. Much to Mykage’s dismay, they failed to retrieved his ideal fragment of the Wings of the Sun. I did have to laugh at how Fudou was super pleased to troll (or at least, that’s what it feels like), probably knowing that Mykage has been watching their every move, and had been purposely setting him up for a disappointment.
