Summary

Sabrac’s fight with Khamsin, Rebecca and Wilhelmina continues, with Sabrac gaining the upper hand and wounding Khamsin with his Stigma. The Snake of the Festival begins to have an effect on the world outside the Divine Gate, unleashing a Mistquake that Flame Hazes and Tomogara alike are able to feel all over the world. As the Snake approaches the portal, Sabrac is stunned at his appearance and Rebecca gets an opening to blast him down, however Sabrac chooses not to be saved by Bel Peol and dies. Yuuji realizes his time with Shana is up, but Shana kisses him, vowing to defeat him and make both of them listen.

I APPROVE, YUUJI. Your new bishie look is SO BADASS. I liked your old one too, but this is just awesome. Comparison time!

While I’m quite surprised at how Shana was able to wound him in the first place, she’s now a lot more determined and stable, compared to when they last fought, which was such a one-sided battle it couldn’t even be called one at all. Shana is incredibly different from a lot of heroines in anime, usually they go all fangirly and stuff but Shana’s SERIOUS xD And Alastor’s all cool with it too. I was also worried that Sairei no Hebi would just interfere and stab Shana through the stomach or something when she was talking to Yuuji, but good on you! Even Tomogara have a sense of honour xD

If I were to metaphorically describe Sabrac’s fight with Wilhelmina, Khamsin and Rebecca, I would call it one huge Pokemon battle. Amidst all the not-so-subtle references to Pokemon, Qadesh’s Blood Seal unhelpfully took the shape of a Pokeball that eventually turned into Golem (you know, the Pokemon? See what I did there) We also learn that Sabrac’s lover left him because he was too powerful – so I was glad for him that he got his closure in the end, after seeing the giant snake. But WHY DID HE HAVE TO DIEEEE?

He was such an awesome character. Evil, but awesome. Oh, and Fecor was revealed to be alive, but he soon died after. But that’s not too important xD I don’t know what the Flame Haze are complaining about, so many important Tomogara are all dropping like flies, while no significant Flame Haze has fallen in battle yet. It does seem that the war is going in their favour.

…Oh wait. That huge ass god-level snake that just turned up. Yeaaaaah. About that…

Its head looks like a Groudon...

The Mistquake seems to be some sort of natural disaster created by the appearance of the snake, that only Tomogara and Flame Haze can feel. We got a few shots of Flame Haze and Tomogara alike that may or may not be important to the plot in the future. Noticeably, Pheles was in one of those, as well as a weird bear-like thing that was looking out over the place where the Tendou-kyu was. Actually it may or may not be Margery, but I really doubt it is.

Overall this episode was SOOOO BADASS. AS USUAL. Seeing as Yuuji agreed to Sairei no Hebi’s plans, I wonder what exactly this “Grand Order” declaration is?

I always rewatch the ED multiple times. Shana always has its best moments near the end of the episode, and I always rage when there is no Shana left until next week xD

And that kiss was so romantic~ It’s like they were dancing!

<3 IKR?! Now all we have to do is make a gif manipulating the time back and forth to make it looks like they are doing the waltz Uff I can’t get enough of good romance! I love it when it isn’t all mushy and corny!!! Shana’s love towards Yuuji is pure and real! This season keeps on getting better and better! <3
