NO NO NO NO NO NO NO!

HOW COULD THEY DO THIS TO US?!

I KNEW WE WERE GOING TO HAVE A CLIFFHANGER, BUT OH MY GOD- JUST BEFORE THE BIG BATTLE!!!! *FLIPS TABLE* THAT’S SO UNFAIR!!!!!

Holy shit, right in the beginning with Caster and Ryuunosuke, my blood ran cold and I was physically trembling. It was so freaking creepy, oh my god, I hope I don’t get nightmares from that tonight!
The whole speech Ryuunosuke given to Caster about the way God handles the way of life and humans scared the shit out of me. It was not only disturbing, but absolutely twisted. We also learned that Caster was executed and was ‘never punished by god’ for his countless murders and crimes.
Ugh, and this episode Caster was exceptionally creepy because his eyes looked as if they were going to pop out!!! *SHUDDERS*
Besides that the episode focused on Waver and Rider. Waver reveals that he feels  that he’s not worthy to have Rider as his master and assumes that Assasin would suite him better even if there’s a high risk of him being killed. Rider throughout this episode was incredibly supportive of Waver and was so cool how he wanted to play games with him and bought console for them (with Waver’s money of course hahaha I”m pretty sure of it). I’m happy to see that Rider went around and requested for backup knowing Caster’s insane monster he’s within at the moment is going to be a bitch to take down. I’m crossing my fingers this will not be the last battle for Rider as I hope to see more action from him.

LETS TALK ABOUT LANCER.

HI HANDSOME, BEEN TOO LONG COUGHAFEWEPISODESCOUGH, GOOD TO SEE YOU AGAIN!
I’m looking forward to the trio working together.

I’m not too sure how Gilgamesh will approach this, I do fear that Tohsaka will use a command seal in hope for him to wipe everyone out at once- but logically speaking, if Rider says he’s going to have a hard time taking this beast down, I would imagine Gilgamesh would also have a bit of trouble. Piercing the monster alone might not do the trick to withdraw Caster- as its his Noble Phantasm that’s causing the real problems.
I don’t recall hearing about this in Fate/Stay NIght, but I didn’t realize that Saber has been blessed/guarded or whatever by the Lady of the Lake. But that might just be me since I’m not too familiar with the whole legendaries/historical backgrounds of these heroic spirits.
Overall this episode killed me and the fan-base with the wicked cliffhanger of the continuation of Fate/Zero in April 2012. Now we have 4 long months to wait…
ALSO BE SURE TO WATCH TILL THE END OF THE EPISODE, THERE’S A PREVIEW FOR US!
Here’s five preview screenshots for you!
I’m not sure whether I should do an overall review or not yet since the show isn’t technically complete but instead divided into two parts… but with the way things ended, I think it’s best that I wait for the second part to finish before doing so.
Last but not least, Happy Holidays everyone and Merry Christmas!

The Lady of the Lake is the one who gave King Arthur his sword. Whooo! Next season!

I seriously had a gut feeling about that…

The speech about God was accurate, by the way. He described Gen Urobuchi: the author of Fate/Zero. Heeeh. Technically, God for them, right? He’s the only one Caster can talk to and understand because of his high stats in Mental Pollution (which distorted Caster’s mind, without that, Caster would probably be… different). No one is fully evil in Nasuverse. Hell, Angra Mainyu aka ‘All the Evil of the World’ has the most tragic past in the entire Fate-storyline. You want to stop and give the poor guy a hug (you might remember them as the mud/tentacle thing Kirei tossed to Shirou in FSN finale).
His backstory is fully revealed in Fate/Stay Night sequel: Fate/Hollow Ataraxia
