Shakugan no Shana III Ep 2: SHIT IS GONNA GET REAL!
Shana recieves a reply from Sophie and finds herself told that she is acting foolish and that it’s about time to become one with herself. Meanwhile, in the lower ranks of Bal Masqué grows a bit unsettled knowing that their leader is a mere Myste, but Sairei no hebi quickly meets their standards and later returns to the city as Yuuji.
SHIT SHIT SHIT.
The last moment, that last scene.
SHIT’S GONNA GET REAL.
AND I WAS TOTALLY NOT EXPECTING YUJI IN HIS USUAL APPEARANCE ANYTIME SOON, SO THIS IS A PLEASANT SURPRISE BUT THAT’S NOT THE POINT!
NOBODY KNOWS YUJI IS WITH THE BAL MASQUÉ AND THAT SAIREI NO HEBI IS USING HIS BODY AS A HOST!
MAN. Seeing Satou freak out and really take Margery’s warning and advice seriously spooked me. I was scared as well because, holy shit, it would’ve been REALLY, REALLY, REALLY BAD, if Yuuji were on that train or any other Denizen! But lets face it, Yuuji is the last person ANYONE needs to encounter right now since he’s the LEADER and not truly himself! The threat is huge. On top of that, I WOULD BE SUPER DEPRESS IF SATOU DIES BECAUSE HE’S ONE OF MY FAVORITES IN THIS SHOW.
Overall the episode definitely had a different feel to it, but the last few moments with Satou really shook me to the bones. I’m really getting anxious of what’s going to happen next since the next movement involves the Denizens hunting down mystes as part of Professor’s experiment or as result of his experiment, whichever it is. It was also good to see Shana understand a bit about what Sophie had mentioned in the letter about her becoming one with herself, but I also think there’s more to it that Shana yet to discover.
