Introduction Post: Levelling Up
*waves* My name is Vantage, and I’m a former stalker occasional commenter of AngryAnimeBitches xD From today I’ll be an official blogger here, and will work alongside Eva, Zero and the rest of the veteran team, as well as Silvia, who will be debuting at around the same time as I do.
My hobbies include lazing around, watching anime, playing the piano and posting at dodgy times (my time zone makes it either really convenient, or a real pisstake).
About my anime tastes. I’ve been watching anime for 2 to 3 years now (not counting stuff like Pokemon) and as a guy, I often enjoy many shounen anime – and stemming from that, genres such as sci-fi, fantasy and mystery. Series successfully under my belt include To aru Majutsu no Index (as well as Railgun), Code Geass and Naruto among many others. I’ve recently found an interest in seinen as well, Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica being a particular hit with me, as well as pretty much anything with a lead voiced by KugiRie ^^
Being someone who sat through both the whole of Lotte no Omocha and Haruhi’s Endless Eight, I guess you could say I’m a bit screwed up, but oh well xDD I shall be watching most of the new anime airing this season, including Mawaru Penguindrum and Kamisama no Memo-chou (since it’s the only NEET thing to do).
In terms of blogging style, I will first give a sometimes not-so-short summary on the episode, then my impressions on it. I will usually comment on the art, pacing of the storyline as well as what I felt about it in general among other things. With sequel series, I will give a summary of the story so far in my first impression, so new fans may be interested in picking it up. As I was not expecting to be offered a chance to blog this summer, I will be only covering one series, the comedy Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu Ni! (Edit: As well as picking up Naruto Shippuden on Thursdays in a few weeks time)
That’s all I have to say really ^^ I look forward to sharing my ideas about anime, and am grateful to have been given the chance to blog here. Yoroshiku ne!
