Yondemasu yo, Azazel-san Ep 1: Sexual Harassment, the latest trend for Demons? [Quick Glance]
So we meet Sakuma Rinko, she has just started working at a detective agency where her boss is someone who can summon demons to do work for him. Today’s episode focuses on a perverted Demon named Azazel who was called upon to complete an assignment that involves their client’s case where the wife wants to stop to somehow stop her husband from cheating on her. Azazel being the horny playboy who love sexually harassing women, be it demons or humans along with this laid back attitude of going on ahead to do the assignment before given the proper instructions. The first time, he screws up by going after the wrong target which ends up being the wife, causing the husband to run away. The second time he made the woman’s breasts insanely oversized, and finally – at his last shot, in which he ‘succeeds’ in one way by making the husband not gain any pleasure from an sexual relationships, including his wife. When the case is closed, Akutabe decides to forcefully have Rinko sign a contract with Azazel restraining him from gaining his freedom again.
Eva’s First Impression:
=____= Okay what the hell is going on? What is with abusing sexual jokes and harassment with DEMONS this season?!
After having watched Dororon Enma-kun Meramera episode 1 (which is currently in process of being written), I don’t even know what to think about these Demon related Animes this season. I have only seen two so far, and I’m already jumping to the idea this is the latest trend. Yondemasu yo, Azazel-san starts off with unique, more Western adapted animation style which is mostly scene in ‘Cartoons’. It’s certainly one way to make the show stand out and be different. However the animation, while it’s good they are overdoing the ‘scribble-fury’ as I call it which is not appealing to watch. The episode, it made me laugh here and there, but honestly I’m not sure how I feel about blogging this. When it comes to sexual jokes, I’m really not a big fan of it – especially when they are overdoing it. Also after looking at MAL, apparently Azazel is the main character – something which turns me off. I’ll give this one more episode, but if I don’t like it, I won’t even bother writing an entry for it.
