Yoga Kimimaro a university student studying economics is working two jobs and surviving on his own. He suddenly finds himself confronted by a mysterious CREEPY DUDE named Masakaki who offers him a job as an entrepreneur.

Eva’s First Impression:

Okay first thing I’m going to get off our backs right now, we’re officially calling this [C] like everyone else will probably be doing as well because the title is so insanely long!
The first thing that caught me off guard was how creepy the beginning was. The mysterious chauffeur sent chills right up my spine the moment I saw him. It wasn’t just that, it was the mood, the colors, the actions people took such as the suicide. Then you got the eerie world that is in another hidden dimension or something that involves fighting with money – only this money, isn’t your ‘typical’ everyday cash. It’s what you use to summon these creatures that will fight alongside with you.
Speaking of creepy characters, that guy Masakaki, oh my god. I swear I’d be freaking out if I kept on being surrounded by him. I’m amazed how Yoga ignored him 99.5% of the time! That guy is totally manipulating him and I don’t know what the hell he did to him (I’m guessing brainwashing or hypnotizing) when his eyes started glowing and then made Yoga’s eyes glow too then all this crazy stuff started happening and holy shit. Yeah you get my point.
Back to Yoga: He’s a fascinating character. He is very focused in school but at the same time he’s so caught up with some of his other subjects he forgets to study one of the main ones. It seems (or so it has been indicated) that he holds a crush/feelings for Hanabi who already has a boyfriend. One of the things I like about his character is how mellow he is. He didn’t freak out or have a spaz attack of any sort. He handled the situation very calmly and was extremely focused on his studies. It amused me how he could care less about some creepy guy telling him to become an entrepreneur.
One of the things I don’t like about this anime already is overusing 3D animation for exploration and objects. I’ll tell you right now, I’m not a fan of the cars, the arial view of the buildings, it’s too much in my opinion. However don’t get me wrong, the animation for this show so far is definitely eye catching, much like Mahou Shoujo Madoka and Bakemonogatari when it comes down to techniques because it’s different in many ways which makes it stand out. One of the things I have noticed in the past two seasons that the artistic scrapbook style is being used more often – and it’s a cool. Certainly brings something new and refreshing to anime, not to mention as I just said, makes it stand out more. This also goes for the characters designs that is very different and special in a way.
The good news is, this show got me hooked. I’m curious about where this will go! While I don’t like horror, but I do love suspense and a little bit of thriller (although i have to admit I’m not entirely used to that either where as I’ll be covering my eyes at points).

Zero’s First Impression:
Wow, This was NOT what I was expecting from this show. I was looking forward to a show surrounded of financial drama. While this is what the show will most likely be about… What the hell this is freaky.
So this looks even more awesome than I previously thought. The settings are dark and confusing, the show loves to quickly change the setting of the story. In the financial district stuff just get weirder and weirder. People seems to be fighting some kind of Yu-Gi-Oh battle with money.
So what is going on in the story? Everywhere people are looking for money after a financial crisis and there is this weird loan company who gives you loan…in exchange of your life. Now I’m not entirely sure of the term of the contract, of what I understood for this episode, They give you money and in exchange you have to fight in the other world, if you lose, you seem to forfeit your life.
Now on to the main character, the little guy named Yoga. The guy is not pushed by greed, he has no interest for money past the minimal amount required to survive, but in the end, it didn’t save him from being recruited in this abominable game of money.
I don’t yet fully grasp the full extent of the show, but from what I see so far, I won’t be disappointed from what seem to be an ongoing masterpiece. While a show about money might not interest everyone, It sure does captivated me from the very beginning. Now is the time to watch the struggle of life and wealth in this fabulous show that is [C].

THAT’S WHY “FIRST IMPRESSIONS” USUALLY LAST ABOUT THREE EPISODE FOR STARTERS AND IF THE SERIES IS GOING TO BE SUPERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR LONG WE GIVE IT TEN EPISODES, OR LEAST THAT’S HOW I DO IT! LMAO!
